Anchor mat knot

Hello Knot tyer’s,

I’m trying to find the instructions to tie a Anchor mat for a knot board but to no avail. Can anyone please possibly help either flat mat or any other decorative ones would be great.

So sorry you’re joyless from the link I provided.
There are a few “mat” tutorials on that webpage that are the most common.

I must be having a senior moment because I can not remember seeing a mat specifically named an Anchor Mat.

Perhaps you mean a Thump mat?

Is what you are looking for round , square, oblong??

Would you have a picture of what you’d like to tie?

BTW, there is a chapter in ABoK that deals with flat or two dimensional knots that may have what you want.

I have a design in a book for a flat mat in the shape of an anchor - from memory it’s made up of several sections so could easily be simplified.
