Under "practical knots"I asked if the shown knot was a known one.
Since half a year no reply so now I try under the new knots.
Sorry for the attached pictures. 100KB is not much.
One picture is the complete knot, the other shows how.
It is easy to make and quite secure.

So Boas is Eskimo. I missed the hint of Xarax to the topic 4168.0.
It was apparently a simultanious find of the knot.
I find the discussions about the way of tying amusing. I do it blindly.
OK , end of this topic.
