im tryna tie a portugese sinnet (solomon bar), ABOK #2496. im pretty new at this and cant get it right; i always end up with the fancy twisted version, i was told that this is because i tie granny knots and not reef knots, i cant tell the differnece! please help if you can. also, if you know how to tie a chain sinnet ABOK #2868.

you know how a reef knot is tied left over right and under and then right over left and under. But probably you are constantly going left over right andunder to tie granny knots
