For the past week, this forum was dead (getting database errors).
Good to see that it is back and still alive.
Although many historical images are no longer viewable.

While this forum was offline - it reminded me that there really is nowhere else in the world where a knot geek can post new creations or make claims about ‘new’ knots.
Or at least get confirmation about whether a presented knot has been tied before.
And then seeing Dan’s replies admonishing the whole concept of ‘newness’ and or making claims about knots :slight_smile:

In a recent (private) communication with Dan Lehman, we discussed Scott’s role in moderating this forum.
I suspect that Scott has invested a significant potion of his time in keeping this place running… and its possibly a thankless job!

I just want to say many thanks to Scott.

in which I strongly concur. (though still in doubt
