Here is some fun. That little maple leaf in my post? Now , today, the big leaf maples are falling.. that is the actual name “Pacific Northwest Big Leaf Maple” and two leaves will cover the mat that I posted. I’ll try to post a picture as this something to see and rejoice in. A leaf at 20". I need to do some other photo work. So it could work for both posts. I often take a felt tip pen and write on the leaf.. “You have not seen it but it still is real”! Send the leaf to flatlanders (no offense intended). I was looking for other photos to post. About 100 or more… I guess I have most photos at too large so here maybe is a hitched bottle, short file that wil post. I hitch these little fellows, about 8 oz or so, takes almost no time to do one. Then when varnished the bottle becomes a wonder and a joy. This one has been dropped at least 4 times on the concrete floor, at shows… no damage. Which is why anyone might hitch a bottle in the first place. This one has cotton cord, the size I call Mason Line, which may be about 30 thread. Then spar varnish. This old boy is about 15 now and has been at many shows, many camping trips and still…not broken. Still I need to send the leaf to some thread,… just so you can see it. Good night.
