so I’m thinking “Europe”?!
Given the stiffness and size of the rope
(really, 2cm dia.?! (3/4"?)!), and their
experience, I’ll decline to exclaim in
horror --the rope possibly very little
moves much at the knot with body weight.
One more tuck into the overhand --to make
it a symmetric figure 9– would be something
adding to security, to staying tied.
