Nice new board, can it do avatars?
It does mine!
If you click on your name you get your profile, in a list on the left are the settings to change it.
Avatars are in one of those.
I did not like the ones I found, but I do have my own anyway.

Congrats to everyone on the new forum. The layout and look are excellent and the speeeed is impressive.
The ability to simply drop pics straight into a post has been long needed and is a great enhancement. Dare I say it - all we need now is a spoll chicker :-\ ;D

The forum now uses Simple Machine - as some of you may have noticed. The amount of potential configuration is impressive in terms of what can be allowed and what can be curtailed, if necessary, but it’s quite a big complex list. For the time being, I have used the recommended defaults but, if these are not suitable or, longer term, greater functionality is needed, I’ll try to re-configure the forum accordingly.

I like the new forum, most importantly the rapid removal of off subject posts. Also removal of off color posts. As you may remember I did not like “simple and common” knotting words being edited by the system but have come to very much want that sort of editing. My earlier position was an error! I have had a change of thought. I tried to edit my profile as at IGKT-PAB elections this evening we have a new PABPRES. Lindsey Philpott is now IGKT-PAB president. My new “handle” is “KnotNow!” as soon as I can figure outhow to put it into the system.
