The “Round braid 2x3” is Ashley #2937.

“That braid is a crown knot and can be tied with 6, 8 or 10 strands and is tied as follows :
If tied with 8 strands, you take each alternate strand and tie a crown knot with those 4 strands. Now take the next 4 strands and tie a crown knot again in the same direction. Repeat these 2 steps until you reach the length you require.”
