Hello Everyone,
Your absent webadmin that was in a ‘swamp & alligators’ situation is signing in again.
Well ? the swamp got drained. It took some 500 manhours, of which my input was about 200 hours, to prepare for draining. Then 18 manhours to drain, followed by 2 weeks of landscaping so that life could be put back to more or less normal. It was an experience that went beyond the expectations of most of the people involved, and bits of swamp are going to keep making the turf soggy for a few months yet. But I should be able to step around those with no problems.
I can?t express enough how grateful I am to you all for bearing with me in this. I don?t feel I?ve made a very good showing in my first year as web-admin. However, I?d like to carry on, and I hope to be able to catch up with what?s going on fairly quickly.
Please feel free to let me know if there is anything I should pick up on quickly. But to everyone who has joined since I was last active, hello - and I hope to make contact with you properly soon.
Regards
Glenys Chew

Hi Glenys,
The level of admin interference has been perfect. Keep it at this level and you will make a perfect Admin. i.e. there to help when asked, otherwise transparent.
