Born and raised on the island of Sydkoster on Sweden’s west coast, I now live in the nearby city of Strömstad with my family and our cat. I’ve worked as an Able Seaman for 35 years and graduated from culinary school in 2024, earning my certification as a ship’s cook. I love practicing traditional seamanship, especially sewing canvas by hand and mastering knot tying.
