A New Twist on the Globe Knot by TIAT

The “Tiny Globe Knot” is an innovative way of tying a standard Globe
Knot that makes use of a forefinger for “knotting support”.

I’ve been watching others tie Globe Knots (online) for a while now and
I’ve enjoyed the products created.

Thus, this video merely shows my tying take on this otherwise ubiquitous
knot.

Hope you all enjoy,

That’s going to be a great knot to do in hand and possibly from memory… if I can remember it

Thanks JD - another great one.

I might actually try the globe knot, now! Before your video, I was not very interested in the time, effort, material required for the GK!

GREAT VIDEO!

Jimmy

P.S. Uh-Oh - I hit a snag - it seems I’ve lost all of my marbles!!! (But you already knew that, didn’t you?)

Well done JD - another great video. I’ve made a number of globe knots using Don Burrhus’s cookbook but that takes a lot of time and effort (though the results are excellent) - I now look forward to tying globe knots from memory (my grandson has a bag of marbles at our house - I’m sure he won’t miss a few!).

Barry

PS I have added your videos to a YouTube playlist which is linked from the main website - if anyone knows of any that I’ve missed please let me know and I’ll gladly add them.

Thanks Barry,

I hope you enjoy the tie.
