I was looking for a triangular knot for the leaf points on my maple leaf and found ABoK 2321. Since it’s a line drawing with no over/under indications (I wasn’t even sure that it was supposed to be a knot vs some scribble that you could embroider on something, for a while) it took some sussing out. Has anyone worked out the actual over/unders on ABoK 2294-2401 (and any other ABoK particularly sketchy line drawings
)?

I think I saw that one, but for my purposes, I needed a triangle where the free ends exited at the base of the triangle vs the point. Of course, one can always move that sort of thing around, but as there are 4 bumps on a side, it would have been asymmetrical.
The ends do exit the knot at the middle of the base - left hand photo. About the position of the ends in your snowflake photo.
Only when I doubled the knot for use as a lanyard do the ends exit from the point.
