Adjustable loop / guyline hitch

Many thanks for your reply. I've had some difficulty getting a response from the IGKT on this topic; maybe I can get through to you. I have absolutely zero wish to claim ownership of, or that I "invented", the double clove hitch loop used as a tautline, adjustable hitch or jam hitch. As with any other knot , particularly a simple one like this, it is extremely likely to have been used numerous times over the centuries.

I was just very surprised to discover that the knot I had queried with you all those years ago in 2004 and which appeared to be unrecorded had recently been named the Ezelius Hitch/Loop, having apparently been "invented" the year after I also posted it here. If the said knots are not the same, then there has been a misunderstanding, but IGKT seem unwilling to confirm one way or another, or indeed respond to my emails on the subject.
