On 31 july/1 Aug the Bristol Harbour Festival was attended by the West Country Knotters, who put on a display to show the work of the Guild. Our stall was well manned by members of the branch, and attended by a large number of visitors.
I have posted a few of my photo’s should anyone wish to take a look
Thanks oldpete for sharing your pics. They were awesome!
It is absolutely amazing to see the quality and variety of work that is done by the membership. BZ to all concerned.. and thanks for sharing. It’s nice to know that there is more than one Matthew floating around out there too. D
A great shame that I missed that one!!!
I wonder if it might be worth having another forum category just for events around the world that would be of interest to make us aware of these events?
If this event was advertised on this site please tell me where so that I can lookout for future events.
Johny,
They are the West Country Knotters, I was telling you about. They will make you most welcome contact Richard Hopkins. He is with the RNLI at’ Burnham on Sea’ this W/E. and at West Knoyle, Bushcraft Wilderness Gathering next W/E, with Jeff Wyat.
There is a lot more knotting and knot tyers, who never get the time to look at this forum.
More pressing, if possible can you please contact Bob Pearce( IGKT) as he will be very shorthanded tomorrow, and I am stuck in East Grinstead, winning Brownie Points for next Wednesday.
Ken.
That is our loss. Lucky for us olepete got some great pics for us. Thanks again oldpete!
