Thanks for flagging. Iām afraid that is often the case when posts reference an external link but the external site has gone offline since the post was made, as in this case. (Weird coincidence but I had noticed this post a few days back as I had searched for knotting Christmas decorations and was actually surprised at how little we have on here! - I have a plan to fix that shortly)
I think the old forum software was so bad at links, videos and images that it understandably became common practice on forum.igkt.net for people to use external links for everything, which of course meant that we have a higher incidence of ālink rotā (broken URLs) now. Our new Discourse software is excellent at images and links, but also if you have documents (docx, pdf, xlsx, txt and many more ) they can now be embedded in the posts right here on the forum and should have lower risk of link rot in the future.
I canāt readily work out from the OP what the link should be pointing at - something to do with fractals, trees, and christmas presumably? A quick web search of āfractal/treex.jpgā didnāt turn up anything relevant, but if you can point me towards any existing link Iāll fix the OP.
If you provide me with a link to the new discussion area, by Thursday, Iāll add a link in the upcoming KM. Thanks.
