Good day benyofireland and welcome.

Interesting request for sure.

What I see in the second and fourth picture is a Chain Sinnet (Monkey Braid, Drummer Boy’s Plait) that has been tied using a doubled cord, most likely. It is a series of slip knot loops. Quite easy and some people use this for tidying up electrical extension cords.

Here is a link to single cord version http://www.animatedknots.com/chainsinnet/index.php and all you will have to do is either use two cords or double one of sufficient length to produce the desired length.

The decorative ornaments at the ends are not so easy for a inexperienced knotter. You will have to pick one specifically to use so we can determine the best tutorial for you to use.

There are alternatives if you would like to pursue them. You could use, let’s say, a Thump mat, Prolong knot or an Ocean plait in place of what are shown. These are simple enough, look good and certainly not out of the realm of the new tyer’s ability. The above link offers the Ocean plait instructions and the remaining two can be found easily on the Internet, even videos as well.

Then there are a whole slew of Chinese knots to consider, but I don’t have enough experience with them to give advice, but we have a member or two who may come to assist you with those.

Good luck with this endeavor and ask for more help as needed.
