If you are having difficulty accessing this forum following the migration from the Archive Forum (the really old SMF2 forum which was at forum.igkt.net) or the ‘New’ (2022) Forum (which was at igkt.net/igkt-forum) then the first thing to check is what email address you are using. Ensure it is correct and can receive emails.
Many of the email addresses that were imported are VERY VERY old, and we have had a huge bounce rate. This in turn has affected the site’s email reputation, and it can take a few weeks for this to return to normal after a spike in bounces.
I’m working on deactivating users whose email addresses have hard bounced (eg ‘no user at this address’ type of response).
If your account has been deactivated then it’s a simple matter to self-reactivate simply by confirming you can receive emails at the email address the account uses.
