alright! i gave this a go,
punched out to 7 ‘bights’.
using sticky tape and slippery rattail, i could see the merit in pin boards,
anyway,
i messed up one crossing,
it was in the middle of the mat, naturally,
so i undid the ends and worked all the way around to the over-that-should’ve-been-under,
it is an amazing pattern, easily modified
(but it was a bit diffy,
i have to recover before attempting it again)
