Hello, I’m new to the guild and to knot tying. The attached photo is my first attempt at covering a bottle. I followed a couple videos I found on YouTube including one from Zenropeworks to learn how to do the hitching. I’d like to add a pointy element to finish off the wood bead topper to make it look more like a finial, but I’m unsure what to do. A star knot with some kind of pointy center? I would love any suggestions or help with instructions. Thanks!

Crown sennit and taper the number of strands to get it nice and pointy?

Nice work kimisita. Perhaps a small globe or pineapple knot, maybe with a complimentary color.
