knot board

Hi guys,
I’m making a knot board and wondered what kind of knots you think should definatly go on a knot board?

I am sure people will advise you on what knots should be used.

I suppose another thing to consider is size and will it have a theme?

I often thought if I made one I would use a admiralty chart as the background of somewhere that means something to me.

Anyway you got me thinking, did a search and I came across a couple of examples here:

Wow the last photo - Look at the size of that!!!That’s not a knot board, it’s a knot wall!

It looks to me that another skill is trying to tie several different knots to the same size, so that a pattern can be created when they are put next to each other?

I’m donig this for my d of e skill section. and i have already got the frame, it is fairly big And i’m doing each knot in two colour if it needs to be. so it will be an imformative board

It would be interesting to see photos of the knot board as you progress with it.
