Hello everyone,
I’m new here and I thought maybe you guys can help me identify this knot on a necklace.
Also how would I be able to tie this knot?
Thank you!

It’s hard to see with the dark line and low zoom. If it’s not a simple overhand loop, you might try to provide pictures with better magnification and lighting. If you are able to loosen the knot a little, that might help as well.
Hello 4minypark and welcome.
Using magnification I am of the opinion that it is an overhand loop.
One takes a pinched bight of the cord and ties a simple overhand with it.

You can install the item to be captured in the bight prior to tying.

I’m going with Overhand Loop. I just tied this knot in what looks like the same type of cordage (dress shoelaces) to hold some keys.
Hello!
Thanks for all the replies everyone! Sorry about the small picture.
So it’s a overhand loop? Great! Now I can fix the length of my necklace.
You guys are so kind. ![]()
Thanks again!
Tie it shorter. Cut the excess.
