Link to knots tied in webbing: How do webbing knots influence the breaking strength?

I was actually doing some research on the 'Frost knot' - and found these test results by Slacktivity. I have to say that this is one of the better test reports I've seen.

The author appears to be Samuel Volery

He even took good quality photos of all the knot specimens - which is often lacking in many knots test reports.

If you're reading this post Samuel - nice work

More on the Frost knot:

Attributed to Tom Frost who initially developed it in the 1960's for use in 'ettriers'.

Although in this video, they only show how to form a fixed 'eye' at the end of your webbing. It can also be adapted as an end-to-end joining knot.

Here is another youtube video showing a 'Frost bend' (by Grant Prattley, NZ).
