Lift to AGM Please?

How Do All

I would be most grateful if anyone passing near me on the way to the AGM in Nottingham would be willing to offer me a lift please beforeI decide wether to cycle or buy train tickets?
I offer petrol money, company and a lessened impact on the environment; (in theory anyway) ;D
I do not drink, smoke or smell funny, I prommise not to moult on your upholstery and will only have a couple of bags of ropework and personal kit.

I live in West Drayton, about 1 minute from junction 4 on the M4, near Heathrow Airport.

Thank you in advance for your time and help.
Take care,
Barry

Sorry mate - as much as we’d like to help, to travel from Australia via West Drayton is stretching a friendship just it’s a little bit too far. ;D

You enjoy yourself in Knottingham

Cheers for now

No Worries Mates, I am not desperate for a lift really as it is only a couple of hours away by train, I just thought it would help with the costs of someones petrol if they happened to be passing this way.

I hope all is going well for you both on your travels, I have not checked your site since Xmas.

Bast wishes to you both, and all in the southern hemisphere,
take care,
Barry

We’re having a great time - have done over 17300km (10700 miles) and we still have almost 5 months to go.

We had a great time in Tasmania, meeting up with Guild members Frank Brown, Madeleine Rowles, Dave Glasson, Colin Grundy and Jane Bamford. I’ve sent a report to Lindsey for Knotting Matters. We actually spent a month there - beautiful place and also had 4 days in the Devonport Maritime Museum demonstrating ropework and pyrography at the end of our time in Tazzie.

Jeff has been knot-tying at every opportunity and even been giving a few lessons to anyone who expressed the remotest interest in learning about knots.
