If you’ve got a gmail account or other Google account, you can access Google Books. The entire text of Lydia Chen’s first Chinese Knotting book is online with permission from Tuttle Books

Even without an acount I could see a lot of the book, I just closed the window in which they asked for a password.

Not to my eyes: there are many pages noted as missing or “not part of this review”.
But it is nice to see what is there, anyway.
Thanks also for the tip to just close & ignore the Google-account window,
which would not have occurred to be to be a way beyond that.
