Are the date and place for the meeting in Canada, Vancouver area, coming sping/summer, known already?
It is time for me to book my days off at work, if posible, and book flights and so on.
But at this moment I do not know if, when and where.

Have you been in touch with any of the Canadian members, Willeke? It’s very possible, or more likely probable, that there aren’t any on the Forum. There are several with email addresses in the IGKT Membership Handbook.

Europa has been in contact with Carol, who was buzy organizing the meeting, she did not get an answer.
Carol has been on this site several times since I started this thread, but did not react in any way.
Lindsey Phillphott was not able to get a date confirmed, nor did Dave Walker and Bruce Turley know anything.
At one time you have to come to a conclusion, and for me four months is already too short to plan and book an international travel, I have to hurry to book my tickets for the May meeting in England soon, if I do not want to pay a fortune.
Pity about Canada, but I have waited longer than I could afford.

I apologize for leaving people in limbo. I keep thinking, if I just do this, talk to that organization, or … and wait for a response in a day or two I’ll have complete information to give people. I have been working towards a May 24-25, 2008 date for a long time (I have said this many many times, but there a strong possibility I can book the space next week), but if it works better for everyone I could shift gears to mid-July or late August. People with actual ability at organization are also encouraged to step up…
