Prusik Knot

I was trying to find the Prusik Knot in ABOK, but could not find it. I was wondering could I not see the wood for the trees or is it known under a different name?

I’d like to say that I’ve learnt The ABoK by heart but, really, I remembered seeing it in The ABoK and then I used the forum search function (“prusik abok”)
These things will happen! For instance, I happened to notice the single strand star knot (ABoK #1396) after reading about the knot on this forum!?

Prusik Knot (Triple Sliding Hitch) Details
History: The Prusik knot was developed in 1931 by Dr.Karl Prusik (sometime president of the Austrian Mountaineering Club and often misspelled “Prussik”.) It appears to be identical in structure to a knot described by Ashley for hoisting a spar. (ABOK # 1763, p 300), but Ashley did not name this knot and did not describe the slide and grip feature. "
