Good day Sirius/yChan.

There sure are quite a bit of updates.
Please consider removing the updates that are no longer valid, there are just too many. Let?s make some room in storage.
Thank you ahead of time.

Hello yChan,
With regard to your document titled; “My other tying methods of some known knots”

Loop formations chart of bends page 4 of 8:

With regard to the #1053 derived Butterfly bend (at #26 and #29):
The image at #29 needs to be amended.

I can see that you are trying to show both Z/S and S/Z geometry in your chart.

It gets complicated because the Butterfly is always S/Z chirality when viewed from the overlapping/riding side (tails pointing ‘up’).
When viewed from the parallel side, it is always Z/S chirality (tails pointing ‘up’).

Therefore, the images you show at #26 are topologically the same as #29 (if tying 2 different color ropes, you get a color inversion).

A Butterfly is created from 2 inter-linked loops of opposite chirality - that is its underlying geometry.
The tails always point in the same direction (ie they exit from the core on the same side).

Other than that, trying to focus on your other loops is all lost in translation due to ‘big data’ effect.
But, I can say that the images you show where the SParts are aligned at right angles (90 degrees) to each other are conceptually awkward (eg ‘MB’ bend).
You should axially align the SParts relative to each other - this is how the load path will propagate.
If you do this, it will show the tails on opposite sides (ie this is a distinguishing geometry of the Zeppelin bend and Riggers bend).
This contrasts with the Butterfly bend - where the tails are on the same side.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your comment. #29 is not right because the crossing layer is missing. I have got it with the crossing detail, it is being amended.

We know #1053 have the forms of S/Z and Z/S geometry and inversion, my chart should include, as well as other bends.

I am not understand what you are pointing at in your last paragraph. Please show it clear with aids of diagrams. If you are referring to the “Loops Formations Chart of Bends”, the graphic presentations of the SParts and WEnds are so arranged to show the forms only.

Hello yChan,

Thank you for your work.

I appear to be the only person willing to make any comment on your body of work.
To be honest, I find it difficult and tedious to examine your work - there is no page numbering, and no user friendly table of contents or indexing to make it easy for a person to try to understand and/or follow your content.

Anyhow, a very brief bit of feedback - in relation to your so-called ‘reversed Zeppelin bend’ and ‘reversed Riggers bend’:

I am unclear if you are making a claim of originality for these structures? There is no way to definitively determine what your intent is (because the way you organize your content causes everything to be ‘lost in translation’ and “can’t see the forest for the trees” effect). Link: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/whats-meaning-cant-see-forest-through-trees-jared-jerotz

Anybody who has tied a Zeppelin bend or Riggers bend (#1425A) has - by definition - has already tied your presentations.
One only has to pull on the ‘tails’ to get the same transposition effect.
All you have done is transposed the tails with the SParts (in both S/S and Z/Z chirality for the Riggers bend and S/Z and Z/S for the Zeppelin bend).

The transposed Zeppelin bend - when loaded as such - now jams (because there is no longer a toggle axis).
Transposing the tails with the SParts essentially defeats the mechanism which makes a Zeppelin bend jam proof.

I also see no clear benefit with a transposed Riggers bend (#1425A).
