Hello, I am looking for information about the rope manufacturing industry. I am interested in learning about the construction of kernmantle ropes, Braiding and winding machines, and the type/specifications for the nylon (nylon 6) used in dynamic kernmantle ropes. If anyone here knows or can point to some information, it would be greatly appreciated. I do have specific questions, but I’ll start with this.

To view the process of braided rope manufacture one can go to the search browser and using the “video” function and find all manner of clips.
