is there some difference between loop and noose?
maybe a loop is a noose , and a noose is a loop ？
see attached pic, a knot tied in bight.
the tail and one leg is in a straight line,
is it a loop or a noose ?
I find that
if I pull it as an eye knot, it capsizes and holds,
if I pull it by the leg, it’s adjustable, almost a noose ?

“Loop” is short for fixed loop.
“Noose” is short for sliding loop that tends to cinch down on the object when the standing end is pulled. For example, most fishing knots are nooses.
If a noose capsizes to a fixed form, the knot transitions from being a sliding loop to being a fixed loop, aka, a “loop.”
In your pics, which is the standing end??? The longer end is not necessarily the standing end. If we define the shorter strand as being the standing end, then that knot operates properly as a noose without capsizing into a fixed loop.
