slav knot recognise.

Slavs have old knot - matrimony knot (узел супружества). Searching english name of this knot.

Two interlinked Carrick bends/double coin knots representing marriage? I am unfamiliar, but am keenly interested.

This page shows, very nicely, how to tie the knot but doesn’t have any lore. Many of the other links have the text embedded into pictures so it’s very difficult to machine translate… And now I need to figure out how to get this book ;D

They’re not carrick bends,
but overhands, … and now I’ll have
some more fiddling to try!

And now I need to figure out how to get this book ;D

I copied the Cyrillic text into Google translate and got the English description of the book’s cv. Maybe you could find it used.
It looks very interesting.

узел супружества pretty close to abok806

What modelling software did you use, hospis?

(so, if max 100kb per pic and max 1045kb per post, then why is max 4 images per post? math does not add up. ??? Although, perhaps you are posting a book’s worth of text?

matrimony knot == узел супружества

The matrimony knot is front back symmetric. Forgot to take pix of the back of 806 before I untied it… >:(

These 2 are the same. Here’s instructions for the Double Connection Knot

Another is the Sauvastika Knot

Attached is triangle.heart-reverse.small.butterfly.逆向蝶形小结- by Mifor. If you just don’t do the extra ears at the end, you have 2 interlocking overhands that create a triangular crown shape lanyard knot

a similar knot tied by starting with a base knot
and weaving the midpoint through it

another similar, by inversion from a 4x3 mat, if you can understand my note,
