Hi dear all,

This Snakey Bend processes the easy untie mechanism by pulling apart the working ends like Shell Bend. It needs to test whether it is jamming or not. It has been included in my folder “My New Bends”.

You may search for its family members by the pdf. “TTCrossBase(3)” in the other folder “Bends Classed …”

Thanks siriuso, when i first saw this, it looked familiar.

Verily, try to load it from the tails, i think it features a better response when loaded.

It has a transformational relation with your other Onion bend, and that was basically the topology i was refering to the other day.

However, i wasn’t able to exploit the untie mechanism that you mentioned.

They all three, look like similar function knots , but it would be interesting to find out which one is jam resistant.

I am willing to back the structure i proposed.

And then there is the Reverse Snakey Bend,
which looks also interesting, at least in my
quick scan in 1.8cm? soft silky cable-pulling
polyester tape.
