Southern Ontario Knot conference

The Southern Ontario Knot Tyers are having a conference at the same time as the UK (semi??-) annual shindig. I’m going to meet Europa Chang Dawson! I’m hoping and vaguely expecting (being eastern Canadian) to meet almost name-twin sprang goddess and maedeup fan Carol James. I’ve offered to lead a crown sinnet/boondoggle/good luck knot workshop. It’s shaping up to be a good time. ;D

So, who else is coming? :smiley:

Note: I tried to find a thread announcing the conference to add to, but couldn’t. It must have been announced here before, no? Was it all just paper? :o

I had been planning on making it up for the get-together. Alas, my wife broke her leg (in three places) so I guess I will not be taking a trip north.

But I might break out my pictures of Dave’s walking stick and work on a cane for my wife in celebration of the event though.
