Maybe it has been done here; but just in case… this a loop base on a “half lock” square knot.
“Half lock” because in the original lock square knot bend both tag ends enter the center knob.
This loop is easy to tie and seems to hold quite well.
It is also very facile to untie and not jam prone.

By tucking the Tail End through the same openings of the Reef knot but the other way ( so it points “up”, in your picture ), you can avoid its annoying very sharp last turn. However, you can not avoid the sharp turn of the eye leg of the Standing Part…
You can also “half lock” the Thief knot the same way. I have no idea which “half-locked” nub, the nub of the Reef knot or the nub of the Thief knot, will be more secure.
Another idea is to “full-lock” the Reef knot or the Thief knot, using the first part of the eye leg, so you get more symmetric, easily inspected nubs.
Starting from the Thief knot, we have various end-to-end knots ( bends ) which we can turn into eyeknots ( loops ): http://igkt.net/sm/index.php?topic=4445.0
See the first picture for the simplest of them.
We can also start from the Reef knot, as you do. See the second picture.
Ok thanks for the pictures,
In fact I choose to remove the “second lock” of the reef because it seems redundant and cumbersome for the purpose of the eye knot.
