This may be something of an insult, all things considered, but ....

Hello All in the UK, and those observing from the rest of the world,

Whilst shopping in Tescos yesterday I discovered they are selling Geoffrey Budworth’s Guide to Knots (50 practical knots) at £1.97. I snapped up one immediately, since I don’t have the budget to get it at the full price of £7.99. I do hope Mr Budworth got the proper commission on it, regardless of the price. Anyone looking for a way of distributing several knot books at once might find this helpful to their pocket

Regards
Glenys Chew

Mister Budworth is paid one amount of money for the book, regardless whether they sell one copy or thousends.
And regardless the price they sell the book for.

When an earlier book was just published it was published in dutch too, for much less. Geoffrey applauded me for buying the cheap copy.
So I am sure that he would agree with you buying it now the price is right.

Jeff will be hot-footing it down to Tescos tomorrow

How Do All

I got a few copies yesterday, they will make nice pressies, quite a bargain ;D

Thank you for the heads up Glenys.

Take care,
Barry

Glad I could help. It’s so nice to see a really worthwhile book on sale in a supermarket, rather than the stuff I usually shudder at
