I was playing around with some rope, and ended up with this. I have no idea if it’s been done before, but I certainly like it. :slight_smile:

Looks similar to some of the knots that TyingItAllTogether (http://www.youtube.com/user/TyingItAllTogether) ties over on youTube.

Hmm, even the cord is a bit similar, Jeff != JD, right? 8)

Heh, no I’m not JD, but I am an admirer of their work. I forget which of their videos I was watching before I made this one, maybe the Pagoda knot? At any rate, I have photos of the steps to tie this one at my website http://cgmaille.com/misc/knot. Incidently, step 6 is a pretty neat knot too.
