I do not know, but I am very glad that Des Pawson is an existing, real person, and that he is alive and well, and he is somewhere in the picture.
However," Amicus Des Pawson, sed magis amica veritas " ! :slight_smile: I had recently read his 2004 “expanded” handbook, and, although I liked the packaging ( the pictures and the “look” of the book ), I have been disappointed by the content ! I keep telling God to ask my advise next time, so I will do the same for Des Pawson, even if he is a semi-KnotGod. ( And I have to tell that I do not charge anything for advice, or gain any $ from it, as other people do…).
In particular, the chapters on loops and bowlines, on binders and on hitches, which I think I can check a little bid, are … well, they need repair ! :slight_smile:

So many friends, shame I had to miss it, but the doctor (female) and nurses at the Medway hospital were worth the trip in the ambulance LOL, but i will steal a copy of the photo for my collection.
