I present here the Y96 Loop Knot for comments.

With an eye knot, the issue of mixing different
ropes doesn’t obtain (at least not in the common
definition of “eye knot” and not in my “look only
withing cookie-cutter circle…” definition (which
leaves what connects/not outside of the tangle
undefined!)).
But I see no reason for liking this eye knot.
It is a PITA to tie, and doesn’t dress & set well,
nor have a good balance of eye legs vs. SPart
tensions, IMO.
